It must be really suck and put things in perspective when running the track. You forget how long and wide the tracks actually are and when you see them on TV it can make them look small, especially with cars going round them at 200 mph! I’ve walked a few karting tracks snd I’m always surprised at how long they are, that would be nothing compared with an F1 track!

@aidanedgar I’ve spent a lot of time recently looking at tracks on google maps’ aerial views, and it really puts the scale into perspective. Not just the length, but how much area they cover, and how massive some of the run-off areas are.
